• Kitchen Deli Helper Clerk

  • Responsibilities

    Preparing grab-and-go salads, dressings and spreads in accordance with PCC recipes

    • Packaging and labeling grab-and-go items
    • Stocking sales floor grab-and-go case
    • Counter and barista service when needed
    • Dishwashing and cleaning in the deli and production areas
    • Ensures department sanitation, cleanliness and safety standards are met
    • Becomes knowledgeable about deli products, specialty foods, baked goods and prepared foods
    • Provides excellent, professional customer service

    Qualifications

    • Available to work a variety of shifts, including evenings and weekends
    • Able to work in a fast paced kitchen environment
    • Previous food preparation experience and knife skills required 
    • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
    • Knowledge of specialty and prepared foods preferred    
    • Basic math skills for measurement and scale functions
    • Excellent communication skills
    • Must be able to meet physical requirements of standing, twisting, bending, repetitive motion, and lifting 10-40lbs regularly      
    • Must be at least 18 years of age
