• Grocery Lead

    Green Lake Village
    40 hours per week
    $23.40/ hour
  • Responsibilities

    • Models and provides excellent, professional customer service
    • Assists the grocery coordinator to oversee and manage grocery department operations, including merchandising, scheduling, ordering, productivity, budgeting, inventory, gross profit, and reporting 
    • Helps train, supervise and evaluate all grocery department staff
    • Stocks grocery displays with attention to quantity, quality, timeliness, appearance of displays, and merchandising plan
    • Handles price changes and signage
    • Acts as back-up to grocery department coordinator and oversees department in coordinator absence  
    • Participates in long and short-term department planning
    • Ensures that the department sanitation, cleanliness, and safety standards are met
    • Helps maintain integrity of organic standards for the bulk department


    • Proven ability to provide excellent, professional customer service
    • Must have a flexible schedule with availability to work evenings and weekends 
    • Ordering and inventory management skills
    • Strong merchandising skills
    • Demonstrated organizational and planning skills
    • Excellent leadership, teambuilding, problem solving and communication skills 
    • Computer knowledge and skills including Microsoft Office products and file management 
    • Previous supervisory experience preferred
    • Must be able to meet physical demands of position including standing, bending, twisting, repetitive motion, and lifting between 10-40lbs regularly
    • Must be at least 18 years of age
